WE?RE HIRING: SKILLS SUMMARY PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR
The Skills Summary project provides a framework to better recognise
the value and learning young people gain by participating in youth
work and volunteering opportunities so that they can better
communicate the acquisition of these essential skills to future
employers. The primary audiences for this project are young people who
are involved in the youth/non-formal education sector in Ireland.
Supported by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability,
Integration and Youth in **Apply on the website**, the project aims to
perpetuate and sustain the usage of Skills Summary among new and
existing cohorts of young people aged **Apply on the website** and
youth organisations who support these young people. A key element of
the Project in **Apply on the website** will be to introduce Skills
Summary to employers.
NYCI is now seeking an experienced Project Co-ordinator to deliver the
third phase of this exciting project. The post holder will work in
collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders including young
people, youth organisations, youth employability projects,
organisations supporting the unemployed, employers and other
organisations. The role is multifaceted, and the successful candidate
will be required to have a range of skills to deliver this project.
This is a partnership project between the National Youth Council of
Ireland, Accenture and SpunOut.ie.
